ZenWriter 1.32

ZenWriter a text editor for Windows that cuts out all the distraction and lets you focus on letting your thoughts flow. It’s a full screen, zen-like program that offers few formatting options but a whole lot of tranquility.

If you find yourself, skipping between tabs in your browser checking up on email and Facebook when you’re meant to be writing, ZenWriter is the solution to your distracted mind.

see ZenWriter have a 'Save' option. It also leaves ghosts of screens after I have closed the screens. I like the type writer sound. More options on the music would be nice. Thanks.

Allow users to change the language of the keyboard

Allow users to change the language of the keyboard so it's not restricted to the default (e.g. so users can switch to Chinese (Taiwan) to type traditional Chinese characters)

Add an optional clock, or timer. My previous 'No distraction' writing has been done using 'Write Or Die', perhaps not as peaceful as this, but quite helpful in a pinch.

Make the menu off/on more predictable

Make the menu off/on more predictable ; link it to a cursor position in a corner. Also give multi-screen support. Provide a timer, showing you how long you've worked, when saving the text.

See a much improved Spell Check.

This feature has been around for decades and I don't know that I have ever used one as poor as this.

Make it so that after typing for several seconds all options and menus disapear UNTIL the mouse is moved.

I love this software for writing. Once I purchase a new computer I intend to buying this software (thank you for the reasonable price)...if you fix a few things first. It is very irritating when I begin to type, have all the options nicely fade...

As stated above. I use CTRL+S all the time, and having the browsing window pop up every time I try to save is getting quite irritating. Please fix this so that when you click CTRL+S the save file is merely updated. Other than that I love this...

Fix it so the line doesn't blink every time I type a letter. (This is happening on the 'night' setting - haven't checked on 'day' - but the blink is a distraction.)

Change the name. Most individuals are not 'Buddhists'. Or we could call it 'Salvationwriter'.

remark

I really like the backgrounds - yes - user input for music would be nice - a more pronounced menu with more familiar words - and I get the no fonts thing - if each writer wants to doctor the after-affects then save it & import into a larger word...
